, and ask him a few questions.
I collected the questions using
your feedback
, and presented them to GC in a one-on-one setting. Perhaps his answers will inspire you, perhaps they will infuriate you—Mr. Street is nothing if not controversial. But nonetheless, here are the answers, straight from the crab's mouth!

Blizzard Office Tour Gallery
Along with the rest of the fansites, I was afforded the opportunity to take a tour of the Blizzard offices. Obviously I wasn't allowed to take any pictures of sensitive documents (despite my best efforts), but I did get a few fun shots of what sets the Blizzard offices apart from most other companies.
There are a lot of shots I didn't include here—most of them pictures of hallways or offices, things that every company would have—but I did try and take special care to get pictures of the things that make the Blizzard offices special. I included explanatory captions wherever possible.
I apologize, as usual, for my lack of a decent camera. All these pictures were taken on a very old iPhone. =/

Brand New Cataclysm Info! (Some Major Stuff)
Ladies and Gentlemen! This past week I was afforded the opportunity to attend a
Press Event
at the Blizzard offices in Irvine. At that event we got access to a
lot
of new information about Cataclysm...information which we are now delighted to share with you!
Hang on to your hats, because there are some
big
changes waiting after the break—including a
new raid "downshifting system
, changes to the
Guild Advancement
system, and (bombshell) the complete
removal of the Path of the Titans
system!

A Personal Aside
This has nothing to do with WoW, MMOs, or Wowhead, but it's very important to me personally so I wanted to take a moment to talk about it with you.
Some of you remember my brother, William. He blogs here occasionally under the name
SBMrClean
. He's also suffering from a chronic, debilitating, incurable illness called
Crohn's disease
.
Crohn's is an auto-immune disorder of the digestive tract. Basically what happens is that the antibodies in your digestive system go a little nuts, and they start attacking your body's own tissue. The results are abdominal pain, dietary restrictions, diarrhea/constipation, infections, and frequent surgery. William himself has been forced to have his intestines re-sectioned twice, at the age of 25.
Because of this, he and I are taking part in a fundraising walk this Sunday for the
Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America
. I mention this here because we are still looking for pledges and donations, and anything you can provide will help.

Just last night, Blizzard gave us a sneak peek at some of the upcoming features in
Cataclysm

Now not all of these can be shared with you just yet. But we

Remote Auction House Out of Beta
It's official: The WoW Remote Auction House is now fully live and out of beta!
This is both good news and bad news, of course, since by leaving beta that means it's now reached the point where we have to, you know,

for it.

Operation: Gnomeregan and Zalazane's Fall on the PTRs

StarCraft II Race Guides on ZAM
I know this isn't a World of Warcraft-related post, but trying to pretend that we're not all flipping out over
StarCraft II
isn't going to fool anyone, so let's just call it straight, shall we?

Icecrown Citadel Raid Buff Up to 20%
As of today's maintenance, the Icecrown Citadel raid buff is up to a 20% damage increase (see
Brado Guerreiro de Grito Infernal
and
Força de Wrynn
).
Just as before, this is going to make the
Icecrown Citadel
encounters that much easier, so be prepared to see a new crop of guilds diving into the ICC content.
The buff should reach an astonishing
25%
on June 22nd, and
30%
on July 20th.
Remember, as before, you can always request that the buff be removed if you want to try the encounter in its most difficult form.

A Look at WotLK Progression Statistics
Stompalina
from the Rawrcast tipped me off to an article they had up on their
website
that takes a look at progression statistics for WotLK.
I thought this was really interesting to look at—it tracks how quickly people progressed through the starting content in WotLK versus how quickly they progressed through ICC, and what percentage of players are actually completing the content, and draws some interesting conclusions about what we can expect to see in Cataclysm.
