Dropped for my Holy Priest and replaced my Staff of Divine Infusion. (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=31289) I'm over the moon that the item has both high spirit AND high +healing. It's nice to have some stam back, as well.
I've yet to suffer from weak heals or a small mana pool, so I'll personally be slapping a +20 spirit on it for longevity (though Disc priests might consider the +30 int enchant for extra crit).

A fantastic staff for priests and druids with their SPI dependant specs.

This is a great Mage staff for the use of the "Evocation" spell.
If no healers need it, give it to a mage for the + to spirit. If you equip it before you Evocate, You'll gain more mana Per tick due to having More Spirit Mana regen!

I am a mage and I am currently using this staff as an Evocation booster. If no one in your party can use it, you should roll on it and offer some sort of compensation to the group to offset the fact that it is not really a Need roll.

I highly suggest picking this up since it has the 2nd highest +spirit and is relatively easy to attain.

whadaya mean not a need roll? I am a mage, and I need this staff. I've been using a green lvl 70 "of spirit" staff and "of spirit" wand for evokes, but I lose stam/int by equipping them. With this staff, I won't lose the stats, and get my spirit for evoke. If I get one, gonna drop a big +spirit enchant and call it a day.

As a note, should one prefer the stat loadout of this stick over other options (or if you just prefer staffs over 1h+off hand because it looks cooler like I do,) your next upgrade would be Nightstaff of the Everliving ( https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=28604 ) off of Nightbane in Karazhan, followed by Ethereum Life-Staff ( https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=29981 ) off of Astromancer Solarian in Tempest Keep.

I have a priest and I am stuck. I don't know which staff to use, out of these 3 staves which one is better?:

Spirit is really handy for Druids. But I'm still not sure if I should get +20 Spirit or +81 Healing on this one.

Did steamvault as 69 with my resto druid, dinged 70 during the instance and this staff dropped!
I was so happy, people in the party congratulated me for the loot, a perfect tree of life druid drop, i choose need on it...

Thinking i got me a really nice healing staff, little did i know that we had a warlock with no brain in our group, he had choosen need aswell, AND WON IT!

I asked him why... and all he could say was..

Got this the other night while running SV. There was another priest in the group but he is shadow specced and said he wouldn't use it. I'm so excited ^^

Just trying to decide if I want to put +int, +spi or +healing on it.

This little staff is good for Evocation on a Mage.

Now of course, if you're going to be in a group with a Priest/Druid etc, they get it if they want sure, but if they don't want it/have it, bloody roll on it, get +20spirit enchant, and yay! A good Evocation staff... Sure helps now that Evocation isn't scaling properly :)

got it today for my priest on my second run. This staff has it all healing stats and most important alot of spirit. In my opinion pure healing alone will not cut it anymore, good regen and good stats are needed and this baby has it all. It's the perfect staff to begin raiding with.

this staff is pretty wicked, atm i have a mace and off with 10 mana per sec 28 int and 15 stam with a total of 245 healing, nice combo. but i have lack of spirit. Wondering if the Staff is really that much of an improvement. 46spirit vs 10 mana per 5 sec

On my priest I mainly go for spirit gear, since with how im specced Spirit gives be both +healing/dmg and more then makes up for changing out my gear to add mana or mana regen. But i also have found that the Imbued Netherweave set can give you all the +mana regen you really need and can then focus on intellect with other gear.

Tanthus, +healing gives you a controllable known amount of healing bonus. You shouldn't be overhealing with +healing gear because you'll know precisely what your heal should drop for (crits excepted of course). The source of the biggest overhealing problem for a priest is overhealing from crit heals (since we can't control when they happen). While a crit can save mana in a hard fight (and can be a welcome cast when your target is near death) you have to drop the heal at a time when you have enough room in your targets health bar to absorb the extra crit heal. Otherwise, it's just wasted heal.

Look, all these debates about which buffs and what fnee and whoo rah don't mean a damn thing.

You have a talent spec. You have OTHER gear. You have priorities in your stats and bennies (+mp/5, +spirit, +int, whatever.)

What enchant to get on what piece of gear depends solely upon how the rest of gear works out with your objective and your talent spec.

If you're going to run the game with JUST THIS STAFF and the rest of you is buck nekkid...it STILL depends on your talents. Otherwise, you have balance everything out. Fill a hole in your weakness (kinda low on the MP/5?) or boost your strength (13,000 mana?) even more.

Playstyle, people. Personal playstyle and the rest of your gear. These determine what enchants and item buffs are best for you.

The rest? Is sophomoric debate.

This is a beautiful staff. Highest Spirit staff I've seen so far. If there's something better? Fine, I'll tend to that when I get it. And as my gear and specs have me at superb +healing and +mp/5 already, and I already have more mana than I know what to do with, I'm opting for the +Spirit Buff because, as a Holy/Disc priest, I get more +mp/5, more +healing and +damage out of it, it bolsters my strengths without cutting into my weaknesses.

End of story.

i got the staff of devine infusion or whatever it's called out of a chest. I'm curios if this staff is better (holy/disc priest). I loose a tad of spirit but pick up 30+healing. Also i pick up a tad of int and alot of stam..... I'm thinking i'll take the diving infusion thing because the way i'm speced i got 35% of my spirit right intoo DMG/HEALING.
I personaly don't find enchants/jewels (cause realy there the same thing) to be worth the money it costs you to get them.

Chose this over Staff of Divine Infusion (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=31289/cajado-da-infusão-divina). Lost a bit of Spirit for more healing and other stats.

Just got it today on my druid. I was lvl 68...I tanked the whole steamvaults and this baby droped. Looks sweet, works great. If you want it go get it, it's worth it.

I know, it sounds ridiculous. Ran this again last night to get rep for my ferocity enchant for the helm and to help a hunter friend get her shoulders (which we didn't, by the way). We had a paly(who was a BIT of a noob) healing and no enchanter. Virtually everything that dropped was worthless to the group as it was composed and when nobody wanted the staff, we greeded. I ended up winning it. It was strange because our druid tank who could have used it for alternate healing gear wasn't interested in it either after we practically tried to force it on him. I'm not going to vendor it any time soon because I'm going to use it to tease my pet priest and convince her to go on more runs with me.

The obvious "lol rouge staff" jokes aside, this is an awesome staff for just raw healing power. There are any number of enchants that could go on this to create some awesome healing potential if the healer in question could never find the right main hand/off hand item combo. Personally, I would be inclined to put https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/spell=27968/encantamento-elevado-de-intelecto-arma on it with mana prime on some bracers.

Got this on my first run here.Really nice step up from the mace in Durnholde with an offhand. Good for lvl 69 priest
