Wrong, most lvl 19 twinks have https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=10657 Talbar Mantle, which gives you an extra 30hp (which any1 would take over an extra 30armor).

EDIT: with the release of patch 2.3 and the buffing of many items, sepents shoulders dropped off lady anaconder in wc are the best shoulders for a rouge. They have +9agilty which is over 2.15% dodge at lvl 19.

DODGE RATEING AT LVL 19:
- 8agility = 2.15% Dodge (+armor, crit and ap)
- 12 Dodge Rateing (medow ring, agm, libram of protection, cloak enchant)= 2%dodge

but, this item has gained actuality again due to Naxxramas enchants from Sapphiron being legit, and used by hardcore twinks. Some of the best druids and rogues would gladly get their hands on one of these to put one of those enchants on it.

Do these actually exist or do they just have a really crappy drop rate? I'm cleared Blackfathom Deeps several times and farmed a dozen of the other listed mobs it drops off of and have never seen these.

Well, finally i got these to drop for me. They do in fact exist, just has a very low drop rate, I got mine off of a Fallenroot Shadowstalker inside of Black Fathom Deeps. Good luck to anyone else who's farming for these :)

I don't know why the drop rate is said to be so low because my twink has them i have had 8 drop in one run. :( Akama/Alliance/Scryordie (Main)

You can get the brocade pads or the serpent pads from WC and it has 1 less armor point. I admit, i do have these pads, but does 1 armor point really make a difference? the damage reductions is 0.05% greater if you have this pads instead of others with 59 armor... Just buy it in AH if you ever see it. It is not worth spending countless hours trying to farm it....

Just got these for my hunter twink. I only use them for actual BGs because they don't look nearly as cool as the Scouting Spaulders. How did I get them? Hehehe...on AH there was someone selling the Scouting Spaulders for 3g and the same person was selling these for 10s on buyout. Needless to say I immediately snatched them up. Any suggestions for a good enchant to put on these?

My level 19 rogue could use these. He's not a twink, but he has some good bop gear from VC and the wsg rewards. Gnome Rogue on Shadowmoon, Madman is the name, send a tell if you have these when im on, thank you.

I found the shoulders in SFK... and they really fit on my twink.. someone wanted to buy them from me for 5g :O

why is no drops from SFK shown in SFK? haven't any of ya got them from there?

All j00 who think this is the best twink item *snicker* you are completely stupid. The best twink shoulders currently is Tabar mantle. yes this is the best ***LEATHER*** shoulder, but who givs if u get stam and some other stats? WAY BETTER IMO. get tabar, dont whine to blizz that it looks bad either.

heres how u makes this 1000x better than talbar mantle.u get these shoulders mail em to your 70. get your 70 to honored in aldor. put 13 dodge rating on the shoulders then send them back to your t wink. your twink will have 5.2 percent extra dodge chance which is way better than 30 hp

doesnt the item bind to the person who puts the enchant on.. im a little unsure,, and does having the exaulted rep ones make a diff to the revered ones/

you can't put the enchantment from aldo or scyer for +13 dodge ratign because these will become soulbound to the character that puts the enchantment on.

You can put an aldor/scryer enchant on it - because it's an "white" item and dont bind when you use it - so it wont when you enchant it.

This did not work for me when i equipped +13 dodge rating, it went soulbound for me, so no it doesn't work unless somebody has a trick. (Bah wasted 2 fel armaments.)

also using the mail exploit is subject to disciplinary action, as it is just that, an exploit. Up to and including banning.

They arent going to move to strip the twinks that have it, but they can be reported to GM's for having it. (why someone on the same faction would care enough to report is beyond me, but you do have narcs/jeaous haters out there.)

These have now been dethroned from their once glorified position as being the highest armor leather shoulders for 19 twinks. Rugged Spaulders are the new king, and they drop apparently from Rethilgore in SFK.
