Legendary Cloak PvP - Battleground GuideThe most controversial part of the Legendary Cloak quest line is undoubtedly the PvP section, specifically O leão ruge or Glória à Horda for Horde players. Many players hate it, wish it didn't exist, and many even give up. So, Wowhead wanted to put together a short guide to getting through the PvP portion of the quest line as painlessly as possible. We're not going to go into huge depth with Rated Battleground level tactics, instead this is a survival guide to help with the basics of these two battlegrounds. Warlords of Draenor PvP Gearing Blog

PvP Power has been removed and PvP Resilience has been reduced to 0

PvP Gear will scale instead, you can see just how with the Wowhead PvP Gear Scaling tool.

Strongboxes will now be a source of gear - you can find the initial data entries for them on Wowhead's Warlords of Draenor Database

Even if you don't win, you can still get rewards from Strongboxes.

Strongboxes can contain Honor, Conquest or Gear

All gear will be scaled up to a minimum ilvl in PvP. This will be lower than even starting PvP gear.

Skirmishes will have rewards

Warlords will have three tiers of PvP gear

Rated Battlegrounds and Arenas will have the same base Conquest cap

Winning a Rated Battleground will allow you to use a bonus roll token for a shot at a piece of Gladiator’s gear, similar to the Celestial world bosses on the Timeless Isle.

We recently implemented a hotfix to address a bug that allowed Personal Ratings to exceed Matchmaking Rating. As a result, some players may notice that they do not gain or lose Personal Rating in the wake of a match. As more matches are played, these ratings will normalize and converge to the correct rating, and Personal Rating will then rise or drop accordingly.

In the meantime, we will continue to monitor the situation and make further adjustments if necessary.

PvP Season 14 Ending Soon

For example, if you want to get the iconic blue priest set with white Tyrael wings, you can either spend in Season 15 as Alliance for ilvl 522 Grievous Gear, or in Season 15 as Horde for ilvl 550 Prideful Gear.

If you want the black/red version instead, in Season 15 it will cost for the Horde's ilvl 522 pieces and for the Alliance's ilvl 550 pieces.

Season 14 PvP Preview: 3D Models, Rewards, Gear, and More

Season 14 adds new Grievous Gladiator armor styles in Alliance, Horde, and Elite colors, which we've got 3D models, costs, and set bonuses for!

We've also got details on catch-up PvP gear--what's happening to Malevolent and Tyrannical pieces from previous seasons.

There are additional cosmetic rewards this season, including new mounts.

We've also summarized all the general PvP changes, such as team rating being removed for arenas.
