Hearthstone Tavern Coming to WoW?
It's been a
big week for Hearthstone
with Year of the Mammoth news, and now 7.2 PTR data points to Hearthstone-themed fun in Warcraft as well. The 7.2 PTR has added models for Alliance and Horde game boards, a Hearthstone pet, and game cards.
We've frequently seen Hearthstone game boards used as decorations in WoW cities like Dalaran and Tanaan, but all of these models suggest Blizzard is taking things to the next level and adding a special Hearthstone-themed area. We've also datamined a new zone called
Hearthstone Tavern
.
Could this be part of a revamped
Tabernatona do Kirin Tor
? A larger promotion like "For Azeroth" for the
Sabre-das-chamas Primevo
? A way to celebrate Year of the Mammoth? We'll update this post if we hear official details.

7.2 PTR Build 23623 Artifact Knowledge Scaling, Infinite Artifact Traits, New Emissary Cache Mounts
It's time for the weekly 7.2 PTR build; here are the data changes from today's update. Big artifact updates, some mounts from Paragon reputation satchels, Relinquished items that can reward legendaries and more. Emissary Cache
will have a mount drop from it. This version of the Emissary Cache is from the Paragon version of the reward - a special "Exalted Plus" tier coming in 7.2. You get these caches on the PTR for every 20,000 rep past exalted and collecting 10 of these rewards

Four more Tomb of Sargeras bosses will be open for testing on the 23rd and 24th of February: Sisters of the Moon, The Desolate Host, Maiden of Vengeance, and The Fallen Avatar.

Patch 7.2 Preview: Shake Up the Battlegrounds with PvP Brawls
Blizzard has posted their official preview of PvP Brawls coming in Patch 7.2. They've previewed three below - Gravity Lapse, Tarren Mill, and Warsong Scramble. They are twists on regular battlegrounds, available for a limited amount of time!

Cathedral of Eternal Night Dungeon Preview
We've got some early screenshots of the new Broken Shore dungeon, the Cathedral of Eternal Night. This is quite a striking dungeon with different atmospheres for the boss areas: a garden for the Fel Tree Agronox, a library/archive area for Thrashbite the Scornful, replete with Ancient Library Books with special effects, as well as a more fel-infected upper spire area for Domatrax and Mephistroth.

Another 7.2 PTR build is on the way later today. Here's the development notes and some upcoming changes to the 7.2 Artifact Power Grind. Of particular interest in the development notes:
New content open for testing includes the

Broken Shore World Bosses

Mythic+ has received a variety of improvements such as new affixes, the removal of Overflowing, and adjustments to Artifact Power rewards. Longer dungeons now reward more AP!
Blizzard has also confirmed that their initial Artifact Knowledge and Artifact Power curves were not final in the data - the build after next should see more accurate values. Our PTR Artifact Calculator should automatically update with those values, whenever they are added.
Edit: following the Artifact Power discussion, Lore revealed that Nighthold bosses now drop Artifact Power in 7.1.5.
Unlocking Empowered Artifact Traits in Patch 7.2 - Infiltration Plans and Gilded Scroll Case Quests
In Patch 7.2, players with 35 or more Artifact Traits will be given a special questline to unlock new Empowered artifact traits and 4/4 ranks on their old 3/3 traits. There are several versions of these quests for DPS, healers, and tanks, so we will be previewing all of them over the next few weeks!
Today we are looking at the questlines started by
Planos de Infiltração
(tanks) and
Estojo Dourado de Pergaminhos
(some DPS).
Patch 7.2: Early Tomb of Sargeras Raid Preview
