direction. As a resto druid going on my fifth year, I personally consider this quite a welcome step up from the scraggly ol' treant of the days past. I can only hope one day that Blizzard allows us to choose our shapeshift form skins independently. And hey - maybe we'll get that

This latest build included new Tier 11 armor set models for Mage, Priest and Shaman, adding to the already discovered Warrior, Druid, Rogue and Warlock armor sets. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be new armor models for Hunter, Death Knight or Paladin just yet, but you can be sure that when they're in the files, they'll be on the site. We have another round of updates for those following our Cataclysm Beta
build 13066
updates today! This time we have some
3D models
for you all to check out. In this update we have models four different colours of Tier 11 Warlock gear. There are even some new hats for you to check out and some new recolours of Djinn mobs. You can check out all this and more after the break!

Cataclysm Beta (Build 12942) 3D Models Added!
New Cataclysm model goodness! No "major character" models this patch, and unfortunately no new armor sets like in our
previous post
. However, as a firm appreciator of raptors I must give this latest update two thumbs up for the awesome, updated skeletal raptor mount model - even if it doesn't make any sense. Then again, we ride on horses made of stars so what's my problem with a skeleton? At least it has
real bones
.
We've got a few new NPC models, including the
Terrastra
, the Earth Twilight Ascendant! I've included the previous Ascendants as well, so we can see the Twilight Ascendant Council in full form! I can't wait to see these bad boys in
Bastião do Crepúsculo
... erm, assuming they're all boys. Do they even have genders? I've confused myself. Anyway, check out all of the models below!

Cataclysm Model Update - New Armor Sets, Minerals and Armadillos! What?
Blizzard just unleashed yet another patch to the Cataclysm beta last night, and with that comes more Cataclysmic model goodness! We've got some interesting new armor set models for each specialization (cloth, leather, plate and mail) and a few new weapons (including what appears to be Deathwing's mace)! We've also found some Cataclysm mineral vein models, a few new objects, and
armadillos
. I know you guys were thinking, "Man, how could Blizzard EVER top camels? Seriously!" - WELL WE'VE GOT ARMADILLOS NOW. I bet these little buggers roll around all sorts of awesomely. I wonder which one is going to be our new
Filhote de Tatu
companion pet? With all these domestic critters getting added, maybe we'll get our moose just yet!

Cataclysm Model Update - Watch out, they spit!
Another Cataclysm model update, this time featuring
camels!
Let's all pretend we're not going to be flying around all of Azeroth and riding
seahorses
through its expansive waters and just be excited for yet another pack beast to carry us through our adventures! So far these camels are not tied to any specific items, but one can only assume they'll be used in
Uldum
(where
wild camels
can be found) and
possibly
linked to the
Ramkahen
faction, maybe as a reputation reward similar to the
Talbuks
earned in
Nagrand
.
We've also found the model for an eerie little crawling hand companion pet (think
Thing
from The Addams Family), which also looks like it may come out of Uldum (with all the creepy mummies and crazy Egyptian-themed business going on down th

Whoa, it's been too long without a Cataclysm Beta model update! We ran into some issues on our end that needed to be sorted out but we're back and we've got models, so it's all good! Yet another update to the Cataclysm Beta!
Here's a few more 3D models for you guys - most notable new additions include some amazing seahorses (mounts?!?!) and some extremely interesting new Grim Batol objects! I don't care what anybody else says, those seahorses are some of the best looking models to ever hit the game, hands down. While there are currently no new pet families being added in

, Blizzard has added a plethora of new pets for Hunters to tame.

Full Screen Mode Now Available in Flash Model Viewer
Considering all the trendy 3D movies that are coming out these days, we thought it would be wise to make a quick tweak to our
Flash model viewer
—you can now view it
full-screen!
It's an easy toggle—just click the little green icon in the bottom right corner of the model viewer to enter full-screen mode—or
double click
on the model and see what happens.
Just click on the professor here to try it out!

!
This one's a beauty. You earn it for completing the 10-player version of
Glória do Aventureiro da Coroa de Gelo (10 jogadores)
. The evidence suggests that the 25-player version will reward a
Conquistador Ninhálgida Congélido
, for which we don't have a model yet. You can be sure it'll be here as soon as we do!

Patch 3.3.3 Models & Icons: Halion, Celestial Steed and More!
Hey there Wowhead readers! We just wanted to take the opportunity to share with you some cool 3D (animated!) models and icons that we have discovered so far in the Patch 3.3.3 data! Sadly there's not too many icons yet for all our forum-goers' avatars, but the ones we've found are
incredible

We've got models for some amazing new mounts, including a beautiful spectral steed, a strange two-seating rocket mount, a blazing hippogryph and a big ol' wooly rhino! We've also found a new model for Anduin Wrynn (the only character ever to "age" in WoW?), a cute celestial wyrmling pet and the violet dragon
