Look, everyone is complaining about an unintended use of game mechanics being fixed, to work the intended way.Shocking.If you hate The Maw so much, don't do so much in it. If you "have to min-max and get sockets" so badly, then deal with it.If you have constructive ideas on how to improve the functionality of The Maw and Eye of the Jailer (that does not detract from the whole premise they are going for), then suggest them in the forums or in-game feedback option.Constructive ideas I've seen:- Make each step of the quest award an equal amount of EotJ instead of all of it at the end. This would override the "no killing blow EotJ" mentioned below on "Disrupt" quests, cause the objective IS to kill.- Removing killing blow EotJ gain from normal and elite, non-specific, enemies (that is probably the worst offender overall, because it causes toxic behaviour). If it's a named rare or rare elite, then award EotJ points appropriately. Quest targets will already have EotJ based on the above idea.
Perversely, I'm grateful for all these fun-eradicating changes. It makes it easier to not return.
Whenever I think about the maw the first thought through my head is" boy I wish this was even more tedious "
I don't mind the debuff... but at least let me finish those damn quests you throw at me...
Missed a couple days and whatever strategy came from this, but now if I finish all my dailies and jet I'll drop dead in Oribos? That sucks. Wouldn't it have been easier to just remove the massive amount of threat you gain from the dailies?
I now have no desire to ever enter the Maw again. I've been playing a lot of years and have never hated an area so much. Guess I'll go do old content and wait for the next expansion.
