The WoW Burning Crusade Classic Beta has appeared on the Battle.net launcher. We don't yet know when the servers will actually be up and playable, but our Wowhead database and tools will begin updating once the beta is fully accessible! In the meantime, check out

revealed this was a bug on the launcher
, Burning Crusade Beta has not started yet.
As a reminder, there are currently no beta keys, so the only way to get in is to
opt-in through the official website
and check your email or battle.net launcher to see if you've been selected! As of right now, the game does not yet appear to be fully accessible, but the client can be downloaded in preparation.

The launch screen is up, along with customization options including Ray Traced Shadows in the Burning Crusade Classic!
Update
: With invites going out seemingly randomly despite servers not being up, users have begun speculating that this wave of invites may not have been intended and is instead going out to those who still had the original Classic Beta installed. While just a theory, it's unclear whether those erroneously invited would still have access once servers are up.
