This is an awesome thrown weapon to have for any rogue or fury/arms warrior. Now since patch 2.0 you can repair stacks of throwing weapons when they get low instead of having to buy new ones.

For those ignorant, Lord Xavius was the first Satyr on Azeroth.
Fitting it would drop from another Satyr.

For PVE, Xavian Stilleto is better, hands down. But for PVP, Felsteel knives is better because of its lower-higher damage.

It's actually required for the rogue attack: Deadly Throw, a great PvP ability
Slowing target by 50% for 5sec and dealing damage for each combo point (about a half Evis)
8-30y range and 35 energy.

I love how blizz removed the ammo on throwing weapons, it would make you at least consider owning a pair, even if just for kicks, but it'd be a great ranged tool as well.

No need to buy another pair. Blizzard introduced a new system where the durability runs out instead of having charges for it. So just repair and keep it forever. I expect the repair costs to be a bit expensive seeing that its an epic item.

+0.77% chance to crit and +0.63% to hit at level 70. doesn't seem worth sacrificing a bunch of agility and attack power to me. i'll say it- weaksauce.

This item seams extraordinarily weak for being an epic item to me. Granted I am a warrior that cannot use deadly throw but compare it to an item like Mark V's Throwing Star. Yes it has significantly less dps but a much better speed for deadly throw. Although I am not entirely sure how deadly throw works as I do not play a rogue and could be mistaken, I would take mark v's over the xavian one stat-wise. It has 20 crit rating instead of 14 AP yes, but 7 more agility, which seams to me would be more useful and a small hit difference that is negligible. Yes although the epic would be better for deadly throws, the mark v also gives stamina, which is very useful in pvp where deadly throw is most likely to be used. All in all I think this very weak epic considering I can compare a green to it, but hey, im not a rogue, if im way off somehow just ignore this comment. As for Shuriken of Negation it has a terrible speed for deadly throw and mark v's even has more top end dmg than it, but the stats are superior to mark v's and xavian's.

Not sure how that changes my statement at all, considering you cannot really spam deadly throw since you have to have combat points the slowest possible throwing weapon would be best for the highest burst dmg.

Bah , just get the one from thrash in ssc, compared to the one from gruul it's loads better aswell as from this one.. more hit,crit and stamina :/
