Just picked this up today, although I honestly rolled on it more for the graphic than its actual statistics.

much more than this piece. The gap in strength is noticeable, but to me the customization offered by three different sockets, the crit rating, and the fact that the Warmaul is far, far, far easier to get with your standard PUG group definitely gives it the edge over this.

Honestly, this piece just screams to be buffed, considering the difficulty of the Shaffar fight on Heroic. Only use it if you want to look pretty.

Why would anyone use this when they could get an Oathkeeper? Only thing you lose out on is 4 Stam and 5 +damage/healing.

If you are a Holy or a Prot pally and you ussually are not Ret and you happen to need this when noone else does, why NOT take it?

The little crystal at the end of the haft is even tilted slightly to resemble an electric guitar head. Easily one of the coolest-looking weapons in the game. I'd get one for my warrior just because it looks so damn cool.

Nice top end, speed and stats, nothing spectacular -- on par with alot of other pallie/shaman orientated 2 handers. Has some yellow text though! Weapons with a background usually have a neat graphic.

this is a pally wep...maybe for druids/shammy but pallys should get 1st dibs...no matter how crappy the warr. wep is this is not a warrior wep....+Spell Damage and Healing...not like the +healing adds to warrior's bandages....

This thing just looks cool, which overshadows its overall suckiness.

And, to clear things up, this only drops in Heroic Mana-Tombs. Regular Mana-Tombs is 64-66. This weapon is level 70. People need to do some thinking before they ask stupid questions =(

Since patch 2.3, shaman of any spec can use 2handed axes and maces, and something like this for an elemental or resto spec shaman would be of great value for killing a caster class instead of swinging away with the dinky 1hander they're otherwise holding, since a shield is near useless against magic. That being said, a shaman should only roll on this if no one else needs it, as it's not imperative that they have it. A paladin could put it to better use more often.

If I saw an enhancement shaman using this, I'd contemplate reporting him for buying his account off the internet. There are 2 major problems with this weapon for them:
1) Enhance shaman can (and should) learn Dual Wield at level 40 or 41, and the entire talent tree, game itemization and game play from there on is based around dual wielding. 2 x 2.6 speeds with wf/wf for max dps, when possible. Big 2handers aren't designed with shaman in mind anymore. Lower and less consistent dps with unpredictable spike damage grabbing aggro just makes DWing look all that better. If you're ever going to use a 2hander, use it for PvP, and even that's questionable, but this weapon is inappropriate for that purpose. Next point.
2) This has horrible stats for an enhance shaman. Spell damage and healing is the second last stat they should be stacking (spirit being worst). Intellect is also near-pointless, with Shamanistic Rage and Water Shield giving a ton of mana back, especially while dual wielding. Strength, agility, and AP are the real stats to look for.

zac11 your an idiot shamans can still stormstrike with a two-hand weapon. Plus if the shaman is geared exteremly well, they can easily crit for more than two 2.60 speed one-hand weapons with wind fury. My shamans one hand only crits for 2k with wf, his Warmaul of Infused Light crits for 3k or more with windfury. Please before you call people pathetic do your research.
