Highest mp5 in the game for boots, and they are especially useful to shadow priests, druids, priests, and shamans over PvE boss fights, such as Twin Emperors. These drop from Chromaggus and are very useful as part of an alternative armour set for regen over long fights. Not so good in quick fights or PVP.

no + dmg DEFINITELY priest thing, the 12 mana per 5 sec helps when ur outta mana an no other healer in party.i know there isnt +spirit but that way it would b too powerful

Boots are decent at best... UNLESS...

You're going heavy mana/5 sec. Then, they absolutely rock :)

this is certainly effective, i hoever must disagree with the other posts previous, mainly because the only other item that i can think of off hand that gives 12 mana regen every 5 secs is the scale of the gods tribket that drops off Onyxia. This is defintley useful... perhaps even BETTER then +to healing boots, mainly because what is a priest going to do when he/she runs out of mana? personmally i prefer only mana regen gear, mainly because in a major battle, especially one thats turning out to become a wipe, i am going to need as much mp as i possibly can. This item would definatley help with that.

Both strategies are sound, however, but i would love to use these on a priest over the incr healing because this would really help me in a clutch situation.

Got them a few weeks ago. Sweet when stacked with other mana/5sec items. Regen ftw.

While some would argue any cloth wearer should use those, i personally feel Boots of Prophecy even suffice. Chromaggus drops so much uber Priest(cloth in general) items anyways, we're bound to get what we want. I wouldnt roll on it, let mages have it, even warlocks. Just my thought
