This dress was inside the easter eggs (literally) that were placed around Azeroth during the Easter holiday! They were a fairly rare find. Same model as the White Wedding Dress, but a peachy color.

Very similar to the Lovely Black Dress idea. Contained in a seasonal gift and very rare. Goes on AH for a lot and is not bind when used.

One of the most aggravating in game holidays imo. I just spent 3 hours looking for the dress and this is what i found

After approximately 2 hours and around 125 eggs in Eversong I managed to find 2 of these. Also netted 4 of the tux pants and 2 shirts, among all the crappy candy.

Eversong had the highest concentration of eggs for me, so that probably played a large part in why I found them.

So...I'm a pet collector and i love nice outfits, so i just had to get that dress

Today i spend around 5-6 hours of total time in Mulgore on my horde pally with crusader aura on. I looted total 185 eggs. Before getting the dress i got 2 Tuxedo Shirts and Tuxedo Pants as well as a lot of candies, chocolates and lollipops...

So if you really want that dress, be prepared for a possible long farming.
I'd advice getting Cartographer or another map mod, allowing to set notes. Go here https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/object=113768 choose the area and write down coordinates to your addon. It really helps when you see each possible egg spawn location on your mini map. :D

I was farming these and was QUITE certain there was no way it would drop for me.
Wouldn't you know, sixth egg it drops. Prolly fetch a pretty copper on the AH since I was on my RP server toon.

I farmed it in Eversong Woods. Stood between the two statues and the bat handler. Ran between the three spots and there was a quick respawn on all of them.
By the bats wasn't as quick, however there was usually some behind the trees nearby.

Careful if you're farming by the fountains, they like to hide in the bushes. ;)

Farmed this for approx. 5 hours. Nearly gave up until I randomly logged on to check a few more eggs before the 24 hours was up. During my farming I got:

46 Candy Bars
60 Chocolate Squares
67 Lollipops
2 White Tuxedo Shirts, and;
1 pair Black Tuxedo Pants before finally nabbing the dress.

As horde, I first attempted Mulgore, noticing that most of the eggs were near trees or bushes. However I found that the eggs were too spread out here so I tried Durotar next. Not bad here if you stick to the starting zone, fairly fast respawn, however the view got kind of bland. I switched to Tirisfal for a change, I found this to be the worst area. I finally ended up in Eversong, which is the best place I can see for Horde. Eggs are fairly easy to spot, fairly close together and spawn quite quickly. Do a few loops around the Sanctums and you will find that by the time you get back they will have already spawned again.

Also, Eversong is nicer to look at than most places anyways. :P

24th egg for me, and 25th for my husband, and we each got one. It's our third year trying to find them, with no luck previous years.

As a horde, I tried Tirisfal Glades first, and then moved to Durotar. I found that there were fewer people looking in Tirisfal, but that the eggs were duller in color and hidden more easily by the trees, compared to Durotar, where they were more brightly colored and stuck out against the orange background of the ground. In Tirisfal, they were always in the middle of clusters of trees. In Durotar they were on the ground near hilly outcrops, outside of empty buildings, and on the islands off the shore.

Regardless of what you read here, the best place to look is the place with the least competition. Do a /who of each of the friendly zones (which for me was Mulgore, Durotar, Tirisfal Glades, and Eversong Woods) and see which has the fewest people level 40 and up. Since mounted people will be your hottest competition, go to the one that's least crowded. Seeing the eggs isn't too bad in Mulgore but it was completely farmed out on my server, whereas Durotar was a lot emptier.

I managed to find a dress on my 6th egg, but I realize that it's also my fault (according to the law of averages) that some people don't find one until their 300th egg.

After trying to acquire this dress for 2 years in a row of Noblegarden, I finally found it on my 18th egg after about an hour and a half of burning my eyes.

18 eggs - 46 copper.

17 lowbie candies - 3 silver, 5 copper.

1 elegant dress - priceless.

first one on my 3rd egg..( Elwynn Forest )
2 hours later I tried again and got it from my 2nd egg. ( Dun Morogh )

sold them both for 200gold each. :)

This dress also went under the name Easter Dress in WoW's first year of Noblegarden, but I guess for religious purposes they changed it. Still looks the same.

I might also add that I bought mine off the AH for 40g lawlz :)

I think I've beat anyone on getting this the cheapest or fastest. lol. I was browsing the AH on Arathor today and just looked to see what shirts there were to buy for my lvl 1 Bank Alt. Saw this sweet looking dress for less than 1g and bought it. Then I came here to see what other dresses there were and clicked on this to see how ppl liked it...200g wtf? Guess I'll be sending it to my lvl 66 BE now. yay.

My friend Carie got this dress on the easter hunt, and I had stressed how lovely it was, and she actually gave it to me. She didn't want it, apparently. It's very gorgeous and after the easter event, the prices for it sky rocket. I'm on an RP server, so that is probably why.

Last year (2007) I camped for this but failed, you can see my previous post here ( https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/v2962930 ).

This year I started the search again and here is how I got on:

First thing you should know is that the Easter Dress probably doesnt drop anymore. What you are actually searching for is the Elegant Dress

In total I opened 64 Brightly Colored Eggs and got the following:
Chocolate Square x17
Candy Bar x20
Lollipop x26
White Tuxedo Shirt x0
Black Tuxedo Pants x0
Elegant Dress x1 !

This took just over 2 hours as I still remembered most of the egg locations from last year and found a few extra alternative spawns this year which made it faster.

New info:

I can confirm that Teldressil eggs can drop the dress (as that’s where I got mine).

The dress CAN be worn by characters under level 30. I used my lv29 BG alt for the gathering and she wears it no problem.

New advice:

Vary your route! This year I took a look around most of the zone I was searching in and found eggs far from the city, much further than I thought they could appear. I found the best plan was to setup a search pattern with 2 circles. For example, first run along the edge of a zone and then when you get back to the start run around again quite a distance in. This worked well and varying my route often made me discover hard to find egg spawns which I could later check when eggs seemed scarce.

If the event works like it did last year, you have until about 06:30 server time on the morning after the event to collect your eggs.

Good luck and don’t give up, it does drop! I just hope it doesn’t take you 2 years as it did for me...

I had my boyfriend open at least 200 eggs in Eversong Woods for this dress. All he got was the tuxedo suit. I guess I got lucky, because when I went to Mulgore to search for it, I got it on the FIRST egg!

ok, im totally lost. there is NO sign of Noblegarden anywhere. NO quests. NO eggs. AND THE THING IN THE BEGGINING AND YOU PRESS "PLAY" is NO picture! Can sobody please help, I want 2 look for this dress and I cant find any clue.

Started looking for this in Elwynn with a 70 but quickly got tired of the whining from all the lowbies without mounts. Found a map to import into the MetaMap addon that had the locations of the eggs. It wasn't complete as I found eggs it didn't have listed but it helped immensely. With it I moved to Teldrassil and began a very effective farming route with very little competition.

Found my first dress on egg 236 and my second sometime after that, I lost count. In all I opened 430 eggs in about 5-6 hours with 2 dresses, 3 tuxedo shirts and 4 black tuxedo pants. The rest was junk candy and about 60 silver.

Going to keep one dress and sell the other I think. Check the AH on Lightbringer, may be ridiculously priced or not, we'll see.

Found alot of eggs on Kalimdor. Actually I managed to find 7 eggs. Found alot of chocolate, silver and 2 elegant dress. I recall finding my dress during the evening time. Gave one to a friend.

They were hidden mostly around trees and bushes. I had better luck searching along area where there was no road or trails.

I've received weird offer for the dress ranging from 5-20g. Be aware this is a yearly item and can be sold for least 200g. Don't be afraid to be greedy. :)

I found this in Mulgore while leveling my alt and linked it to a guy on my guild and he's like "I want it!".
So I posted it to him COD 1 copper (as a joke) and then he tells me he has a buyer for 20g and that he'll split the profit.
Then he tells me that he sent it to this guy COD but forgot click the COD button and so SENT 20g with it.
So I thought I'd check up on the price...
Needless to say -- I'm now pissed with this guildie. He gave me 17g out of guilt.
